Refund, Cancellation and Terms & Conditions

Training 4 Industry Ltd

This policy sets out the terms and conditions under which Training 4 Industry Ltd provides class-based and online training courses. It covers payment terms, cancellations, transfers, refunds, digital content access, certification, and delegate responsibilities. By booking or enrolling on any course, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Payment Terms

Full payment is required at the time of booking unless an approved credit account is in place with Training 4 Industry Ltd.

Where credit terms have been agreed, all course fees must be paid in full prior to the commencement of training or within 30 days of the training date.

Certificates and ID cards will only be issued once full payment has been received.

2. Course Enrolment and Access

Online Courses

Enrolment in an online course provides access to digital content, which may include videos, downloadable materials, assessments, and interactive resources.

Access is deemed to begin once login credentials are issued or any course content is accessed.

Class-Based Courses

Enrolment secures a place on a scheduled course with limited availability.

Once a class-based course has commenced, all fees are non-refundable.

3. Consumer Right to Cancel (Digital Content)

Consumers purchasing online courses at a distance have a statutory 14-day cancellation period.

Where a consumer requests or agrees to immediate access to digital course content, they expressly consent to the supply of that digital content during the cancellation period and acknowledge that their right to cancel will be lost once access is provided.

Once digital course content has been accessed, no refund will be issued unless the content is faulty or not as described.

4. Refund Eligibility

Online Courses

Refunds will only be considered if:

The refund request is made within 14 days of purchase; and

No part of the online course content has been accessed.

Once any digital content has been accessed, the course becomes non-refundable, except where statutory rights apply in cases of faulty or non-conforming digital content.

Class-Based Courses

Refunds will only be considered if cancellation is received at least 14 days before the course start date. Cancellation fees will apply as set out below.

5. Cancellation Fees (Class-Based Courses)

Cancellation fees are calculated using working days prior to course commencement:

Up to 2 working days before the course start date – 100% payable

3–4 working days before – 75% payable

5–7 working days before – 50% payable

7 or more working days before – 25% payable

6. Transfer Fees (Class-Based Courses)

Requests to transfer a booking to an alternative date are subject to availability and the following fees, based on working days prior to course commencement:

Up to 2 working days before the course start date – 100% payable

3–4 working days before – 75% payable

5–7 working days before – 50% payable

7 or more working days before – 25% payable

7. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

Online course content has been accessed

A class-based course has commenced

A delegate fails to attend a course

A delegate misses any part of a course

A delegate fails to achieve the required pass mark

The course was purchased at a discounted or promotional rate, unless stated otherwise at the time of booking

8. Delegate Attendance, Fitness and Conduct

Failure to attend a course will be treated as a cancellation without notice, and full course fees will remain payable.

Employers are responsible for ensuring that delegates are physically and mentally fit to participate in training and operate any equipment safely.

Delegates must follow all instructions provided by the training instructor. Failure to do so may result in removal from the course without refund.

Training 4 Industry Ltd reserves the right to charge 100% of the booking price if a delegate misses any part of a course.

9. Instructor Visits and On-Site Training

If an instructor attends a customer’s premises to deliver a booked course and the training cannot proceed due to inadequate equipment, facilities, or unsuitable conditions, the full course fee remains payable.

10. Certification and Accredited Courses

Certificates and ID cards will only be issued once full payment has been received and course requirements have been met.

For CITB, IPAF, PASMA, or other accredited courses, certificates are issued by the relevant awarding body and may take additional time to be dispatched.

Certificates will be sent as soon as reasonably possible after receipt.

11. Name Changes

Delegate name changes are permitted free of charge, provided they are confirmed in writing at least 24 hours prior to the course start date.
