Equipment & Other Requirements
Equipment & Other Requirements
Candidates are required to bring the following equipment on the day of the training:-
- A Form of photo ID (Passport, Driving license, Formal ID Cards)
- If you are attending a First Aid Course we ask that due to the practical content of the course we advise to wear comfortable clothing. There will be some floor work for the Practical when carrying out for CPR.
If attending a refresher course candidate must provide their current certificate on the day of the training
If preferred you can also email us a copy of your certificate prior to attending the course.
Learning Objectives
First Aid at Work is a three-day course that you must attend to become a qualified first-aider in the workplace and meet their first aid requirements. You will learn the roles and responsibilities of a first aider and how to attend to various symptoms and injuries.
Course Aim
This course is for First Aiders to re-qualify prior to their certificate expiring. The aim of this course:
– Complying with Legislation underlined by HSE and the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
– Improved safety culture and staff morale
– Reduced risk of accidents and incidents
– Reduced risk of claims and prosecutions
– Improved staff retention
