Equipment & Other Requirements
Candidates are required to bring the following equipment on the day of the training
- Company CITB Levy number – Candidates attending Construction related courses should bring their company CITB Levy number with them if applicable.
- A Form of photo ID (Passport, Driving license, Formal ID Cards)
If you are attending a Refresher or requalification course please ensure you bring a copy of your current certificate on the day of the training, or you may prefer to email to us a copy prior to attendance.

Learning Objectives
The Abrasive Wheels Awareness training course will provide delegates with the knowledge and practical skills needed to safely mount, dress, set and use Abrasive Wheels in compliance with the current Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 PUWER 98.
The Harness course is to instruct a user to select and use a harness and associated equipment safely when using.
Course Aim
The aim of this course is to cover safety aspects of maintaining and use of abrasive wheels & Harnesses with Inspection This course meets the statutory requirements of the Health & Safety Executive.
Course Overview
The Abrasive Wheel course is designed for all personnel who have been appointed to mount or use abrasive wheels. This training is required in order to comply with PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998)
Harness Awareness is designed for Managers, Supervisors and Operatives, who are required to select inspect and use appropriate harness and lanyards for MEWPs usage. The training methods involve a high proportion of discussion and group participation, supplemented with video and classroom based tutorials as well as practical exercises.
